1. Who We Are

Nordic Executive List is a daily job digest service for Nordic executive and senior leaders, operated by Celxius AB (org. nr. 559288-1220), Lidingö, Sweden. Contact: hello@nordicexecutivelist.com

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following personal data when you use our service:

  • Email address — used for login (magic link authentication) and to send you your job digest.
  • Job preferences — keywords, sources, regions, employment types and delivery schedule that you configure in your account.
  • Payment data — we use Stripe to process payments. We do not store your card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
  • Usage data — basic analytics such as pages visited and features used, collected to improve the service.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

We process your data on the following legal bases under GDPR Article 6:

  • Contract performance (Art. 6.1.b) — processing your email and preferences is necessary to deliver the service you have subscribed to.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f) — usage analytics to maintain and improve the service.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f) — producing aggregated, anonymised statistics and market insights where no individual user can be identified.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c) — retaining transaction records as required by Swedish accounting law.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to provide the Nordic Executive List service: sending your personalised job digest according to your preferences, managing your subscription, and communicating service-related information. We may also use aggregated, anonymised data to produce market insights and statistics, where no individual user can be identified. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

5. Data Sharing

We share your data only with the following sub-processors, to the extent necessary to operate the service:

  • Supabase (database and authentication) — servers in the EU.
  • Stripe (payment processing) — operates under its own privacy policy.
  • Postmark (email delivery) — used to deliver your job digest.
  • Railway (server hosting) — used to run the web search and delivery pipeline.
  • PostHog (product analytics) — used to understand how the service is used and improve it. No cookies are set; data is held in memory only for the duration of your visit.
  • Sentry (error monitoring) — used to detect and fix technical issues. May process your IP address in connection with error reports.

We do not sell or share your data with any third parties beyond the sub-processors listed above.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel and request deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. financial records, which we retain for 7 years as required by Swedish bookkeeping law).

7. Your Rights Under GDPR

As a data subject under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Restriction — request that we restrict processing of your data.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@nordicexecutivelist.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Data Protection Authority (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, imy.se).

8. Cookies

We use a session cookie solely to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. No third-party cookies are set by our service.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), authentication via Supabase, and row-level security on all database tables. We do not store passwords.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you by email if changes are material. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance.
